NBC17 reporter Eric Watson lists "bodybuilding competitions, snorkeling, traveling and watching sci-fi movies" under the "Interest "outside of television news" section of his bio page. One more activity he may want to consider adding to that list is "peeping."
Watson is alleged to have spied on a woman while she showered in her North Carolina subdivision home. A witness told The News and Observer that "a man walked to a home in the subdivision, climbed onto an air-conditioner unit and looked into a rectangular window that looked into a bathroom shower. Police said a woman was taking a shower at that time at the home." In a stalker-esque scenario, the reporter and self-acclaimed bodybuilder frequented the same gym as the alleged victim.
In a not so bright move, Watson allegedly drove his news van, emblazoned logos and all, to the scene of the crime. But he's refuting all of the charges claiming to be "100 percent innocent."
