Anderson Cooper's endless media barrage continues, this time with a lengthy piece in Elle (yes, Elle) Magazine. We manage to learn a couple of things about Coop this time around.
We all know that he's a momma's boy, but apparently he sees Gloria pretty regularly.
He says, "I have lunch with her pretty regularly, and I hang out with her occasionally on weekends. And she’s a really cool lady. She’s never been sort of a traditional mom...But I’m certainly at a point now in my life where I love the perspective she has on things."
He also justifies his appearances with Kelly Ripa on Regis & Kelly. For all of you haters out there, Cooper explains that he does the show simply because it's "something completely different and fun."
Finally, remember this clip where Coop goes swimming with sharks (we're envious) in South Africa? He explains the trip. Sort of. “I don’t like diving and I don’t like sharks. I don’t like fish darting out...So why am I diving with great white sharks?...I can’t really tell you why I agreed to do this."

I have no problem with Anderson on Regis & Kelly. It's one of the few times that he comes up with something to talk about that we haven't heard before.
